How to Lift a Banksy

Exhibiting street art and graffiti is harder than you think. The most difficult (and expensive) part is without doubt negotiating the release and removal from the legal owner. Next comes the actual “harvesting” of part of a wall en bloc ensuring it remains intact. Keszler Gallery in association with Bankrobber are responsible for what many art fans are calling  ”cultural looting”.
The exhibition features original street works “lifted” from their original locations in Bethlehem, Brighton, London and Los Angeles. The exhibition is apparently unsanctioned by Banksy himself. Subversive artist meets rebel exhibitor?
